Planning Applications

· Provide advice to Architects, Planners, Property Developers, Volume House Builders, and Landscape Architects on the suitability of tress to be retained on development sites.

· Managing tree quality on a site through the use of proven
Best Management Practices (BMP's). Advise on the protection techniques to ensure that retained trees are subjected to the minimal amount of construction stress.

· Representing clients at meetings and public enquiries to ensure that client's environmental intentions are clearly understood.

· Planting programmes to enhance new developments.

· Advice & Method Statements of Implementation for special engineering features i.e. roads and utility services around tree root systems.

· Advice on Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Area Orders.

Planning Appeals

·A.C.S. regularly advises clients on the arboricultural aspects of Planning Appeals.

· Clients' interests are represented by preparing expert evidence for hearings and public inquires.

· When appropriate, appeals are pursued by written procedure, supported by carefully researched but succinct statement of a client's case.
